Allen Boney Jones, 74, of the 6200 block of Jeffrey Road, a retired sales representative, died Feb. 18, 1995, in a Richmond hospital.
Mr. Jones, a native of Norfolk, graduated from Maury High School and attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was a member of Alpha and Sigma Nu Fraternities. He was in the Eighth Air Force, stationed in England, during World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth J. Jones; two daughters, Suzanne Heres of La Mirada, Calif. and Emily Burke of Columbia, Md.; a son, Allen T. Jones Jr. of Richmond; a sister, Betty Ann Brown of Lutherville, Md.; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1995 in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Charles A. Joy. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
