Gold Wayne ``Bubba D'' Lawrence, 46, of the 2500 block of Hale St., died Feb. 20, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Gold W. Lawrence Sr. and Jane Elizabeth Lawrence Davis. He was a graduate of Norview High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a brother, Harvey Picott Lawrence of Chesapeake; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Sylvia A. Lawrence; an aunt, Mrs. Marie Fallin; and cousins, Lamarr Fallin and Margaret Jean Fields.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. H. Bernard Branch. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. The funeral processional will assemble at the home of Marie Fallin, 7109 Chryslon Lane, Norfolk.
