William E. Mobley Sr. of the 3500 block of Boyd Road, died Feb. 20, 1995.
He was born in Winterville, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Mobley; three daughters, Edna Adams, Mary S. Cooke and Evelyn Small, all of Virginia Beach; three sons, Lester E. Mobley and Paul L. Mobley, both of Virginia Beach, and William E. Mobley Jr. of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Enaetia Johnson of Washington, D.C., and Pearline M. Hollis of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. E. Ray Cox. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park. A wake service will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel.
