Edna Gray Britain, 82, of the 2000 block of E. Iowa St., died Feb. 20, 1995, in Carrollton.
She was a native of Portsmouth. She was the daughter of the late Sam H. and Maggie Lou Austin Gray and was the widow of Harry W. Britain.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Irene Chandler of Ebony, Va.; a son, Billy Britain of Lincoln, Neb.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Michael Brewer. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
