Opal May Baker, 78, of the 300 block of Lynn Shores Drive, a homemaker, died Feb. 19, 1995, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Baker was born in Cavendish, Idaho. She was the widow of Elmer L. Baker.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth D. Baker of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Kimmerly Ann Baker, Kenneth D. Baker, Jr. and Kurt D. Baker, all of Virginia Beach, Kyle D. Baker of California and Korey D. Baker of New Market, England; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kellum Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be private at a later date. The family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association-Hampton Roads Chapter, 20 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk, VA.
