GRANT ELSEA

Grant Elsea, 74, a retired postal supervisor, died Feb. 22, 1995.

He was a native of Harlan County, Kent., and was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for over 40 years. He was a member of Ocean View Assembly of God. He was a life member and former state Commander of V.F.W. and former Commander of V.F.W. Post 3160, and the former local and state Commander of the Norfolk Moose Lodge (NU)39, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A. Elsea; one step-daughter, Ramona Morales of Norfolk; one son, Larry Elsea, and one step-son, Wilson Ballance, both of Virginia Beach; one sister, Dorthy Smith of Hampton; one brother, Richard Elsea of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Ocean View Assembly of God by the Rev. Wendall D. Hodges. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
