Walter P. ``Ti'' Covington IV, 39, of the 5600 block of N. Greenfield Drive, died Feb. 20, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Lexington, Kent., and was a member of Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Churchland Baptist Church, and was an active choir member of Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He was creative in rug-making and crafts. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Cooke Covington.
Survivors include his father, W.P. Covington III of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mana Gene Covington of Portsmouth and Cathie R. Covington of London, England; and one aunt, Gene C. George of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), by the Revs. Robert and Marilyn Danner. Burial will be in Baptist Church Cemetery, Churchland. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Burned and Crippled Children, c/o Khedive Temple, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, Va. 23320.
