Emma Pauline Bailey, 72, of the 4700 block of Sunray Ave., died Feb. 22, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Bailey, a native of Princeton, W.Va., was a resident of Bowers Hill since 1959.
Survivors include her husband, Carl S. Bailey Sr.; a son, Carl S. Bailey Jr. and daughter-in-law, Latricia Bailey of Chesapeake; a sister, Dixie Hammas of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Carl Bailey III and Andrew Bailey.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Michael Brewer. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
