Walter P. ``Ti'' Covington IV, 39, of the 5600 block of N. Greenfield Drive, died Feb. 20, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a native of Lexington, Ky., and was a member of Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Churchland Baptist Church, and was an active choir member of Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He was creative in rug-making and crafts. He was the son of W.P. Covington III of Portsmouth and the late Catherine Cooke Covington.
Besides his father, he is survived by two sisters, Mana Gene Covington of Portsmouth and Cathie R. Covington of London, England; and one aunt, Gene C. George of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Parkview Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), by the Rev. Marilyn Danner and Dr. Robert Danner. Burial will be in Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery.
