Russell John Campbell, 34, of the 3800 block of Forest Glen Road, a truck driver, died Feb. 20, 1995, in Edenton, N.C., due to a vehicular accident.
Mr. Campbell was born in North Miami Beach, Fla., and was employed with Everett Express in Chesapeake. He was a member of Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church. He graduated from Princess Anne High School and was an R.O.T.C. Unit member at Princess Anne High School for two years.
Survivors include his parents, Marilyn B. Campbell and Alister R. Campbell of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Teri C. Stankey of Hutchinson, Kan., and Gail A. Campbell-Lane of Rustburg, Va.; a brother, David A. Campbell of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Correne M. Campbell of Peachtree City, Ga.; two nieces, Michelle L. Williams and Mary-Alison Lane; a nephew, Christopher M. Williams; a grand-nephew, Shawn C. Williams; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church by Pastor Ron Lee. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the Princess Anne Plaza Baptist Church Building Fund.
