FRANK W. MOORE

Frank W. Moore, 99, formerly of the 900 block of Spotswood Ave., in Norfolk, died Feb. 22, 1995 in Norfolk.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He retired in 1965 from Virginia National Bank with more than 20 years service. He also retired in 1985 as a tour guide at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with 19 years service. He was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World, a Navy veteran of World War I and was the widower of Doris Copeland Moore.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Moore Joynes of Norfolk; a grandson, L. Wesley Joynes and his wife, Ellen T. Joynes, of Virginia Beach; a great-grandson, Traves L. Joynes of Virginia Beach; a great-granddaughter, Tracey E. Mandel and her husband, Jim, of Virginia Beach; and a nephew, C.L. Buckwalter of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Charles Smith. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Altar Guild of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 201 St. Pauls Blvd., Norfolk, Va. 23510. The family will be at his daughter's residence, 111 Lafayette Ave., Norfolk.
