Charlie Palmer Malone, 76, of the first block of Easton St., died Feb. 23, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Malone, a retired merchant, was a native of Brunswick County, Va. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Malone; five daughters, Ruth E. Hope of Suffolk, Helen M. Robertson, Charlene M. Britt and Kathy Saunders, all of Portsmouth, and Bonnie Paez of Chesapeake; a brother, Herman Malone of South Hill, Va.; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
