Chloe Clements Edwards, 99, a homemaker, died Feb. 23, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Windsor, Va., and was the widow of William J. Edwards Sr. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Ione E. Yetman of Atlanta, Ga., Alma E. Poole of Chesapeake and Carolyn E. Rountree of Richmond; a son, William J. ``Sonny'' Edwards Jr. of Windsor; a sister, Evelyn C. Hopkins of Portsmouth; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents, Clara Snipes Clements and Charles Monroe Clements, and a daughter, Edith Norfleet.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. T.A. Powell and Dr. Lamar Sentell. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Isle of Wight County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, 2601 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434, or to a charity of choice.
