GEORGE F. CRAWFORD JR. AND LETHA NORMAN CRAWFORD

George Francis Crawford, Jr., 70, died Feb. 23, 1995 in Twin Rivers Nursing Center, and his wife, Letha Norman Crawford, 71, died Feb. 24, 1995, in Craven Regional Medical Center. They were both of the 2100 block of Henderson Ave.

They were both members of St. Paul's Catholic Church in New Bern.

Mr. Crawford was a member of the American Legion, and was a veteran of World War II. Mrs. Crawford was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

They are survived by two sons, George F. Crawford III of South River, N.J. and Joseph F. Crawford of New Bern; two daughters, Patricia Ann Falkowski of Forest Lake, Ill. and Dianne Tate of Portsmouth, Va.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford also leaves behind seven brothers, Clevie Norman of Fremont, N.C., Murray Norman of Portsmouth, Va., Noah Norman of Greenville, N.C., Robert Norman of Keystone Heights, Fla. and Millan Norman, Vernon Norman, and Larry Norman, all of Ernul.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Catholic Church with Monsignor James R. Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in New Bern. The family will receive friends at Cotten Funeral Home Sunday night from 7 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary service at 8 p.m. Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home.
