JOSEPH A. WALLACE

Joseph A. Wallace, 70, of the 500 block of W. Ocean View Ave., a retired crane operator, died Feb. 24, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.

Mr. Wallace was born in Portsmouth and was retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 25 years. He was the widower of Edith Nettie Van Ness and was a member of Washington Lafayette Masonic Lodge (NU)176 and Scottish Rites Bodies.

Survivors include a daughter, Nadine W. Holloman of Virginia Beach; a grandson, Neill Joseph Holloman of Virginia Beach; and a son-in-law, Tom Holloman of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
