Donald McCloud Mays, 90, of the 9600 block of Selby Place, a retired steamfitter, died Feb. 24, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Mays was born in Lynchburg, Va., and was the widower of Reba Garrison Mays. He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station and was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia M. Herbert of Hampton; a son, Donald G. Mays of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Rebecca Ernest, Ernest F. Buzzy, Christopher J. Buzzy, Lorrie A. Villanueva, Jennifer L. Southard and Brandon T. Herbert; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Kenneth W. Mays.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Charles H. Smith. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
