The Newton Creek Bridge, which is located on Bainbridge Boulevard near Great Bridge Boulevard in the Crestwood section, will close to vehicular traffic at 6 a.m. Wednesday for about 60 days to allow for deck replacement and other improvements.
Bainbridge Boulevard traffic will be detoured via Military Highway, Campostella Road and Great Bridge Boulevard.
