Durwood V. Scott of Scott & Associates Inc. Realtors was chosen ``Realtor of the Year'' at the recent Virginia Association of Realtors mid-winter meeting in Richmond.
Scott has taken an active role in furthering the cause of land brokerage in Virginia over many years. He has served as the Region VI vice president, in all the officer positions, and last year was president of the Virginia Chapter RLI. Scott is a member of the Suffolk-Franklin, Portsmouth/Chesapeake and Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors, as well as a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club for 15 years.
