Students at Seatack Elementary School collected more than 50 pounds of paper per student in December, for a total of 23,280 pounds. The school received $200 from Tidewater Fibre for having the highest per student average in the city.
Eight other schools will receive $100 for having high averages. These include: Creeds, Red Mill, Ocean Lakes, Cooke, Princess Anne and Birdneck elementary schools and Princess Anne and Virginia Beach middle schools.
