ALLEN KYKER

Allen Kyker, 76, of the 400 block of Crossett St., died Feb. 23, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mr. Kyker was born in Ferry County, Ark. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 27 years and was employed at the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters as a maintenance supervisor. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and was the widower of Natalie G. Kyker.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela G. Meekins and her husband Dickie of Stumpy Point, N.C., and Dawn R. Cehrs and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach; a son, Alan H. Kyker and his wife Eileen of Hampton, Va.; his mother, Annie Truman Kyker, and a sister, Maudine Halstead, both of California; and one granddaughter, Amanda.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Great Neck Road. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to Princess Anne Plaza Rescue Squad.
