PEARL B. THOMAS

Pearl Bowen Thomas, 79, a retired secretary-treasurer, died Feb. 24, 1995, in a nursing home.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Willard, N.C., and was a former resident of the Lakewood area of Norfolk. She was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church, the Lakewood Circle of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters and was the widow of Robert Wilton Thomas.

Survivors include a son, Ronald W. Thomas of King William; and two sisters, Louise B. Ward of Teachey, N.C., and Hazel B. Ellis of Waynesville, N.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Tuesday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. John C. Dean. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday to receive friends. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
