McKenzie Construction Corp. received a $1.2 million contract from the Navy for a child development center at the Naval Security Group Activity in Chesapeake.
Chesapeake Grounds Inc. in Chesapeake received a $714,135 contract from the Navy for grounds maintenance and landscaping services at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk.
Hoy Construction Inc. in Norfolk received a $1.7 million contract from the city of Virginia Beach for a Virginia Beach volunteer rescue squad 14 station at 17th Street and Parks Avenue.
Virtexco Corp. in Norfolk received a $1.6 million contract from the city of Virginia Beach for dredge operations relocation.
Basic Construction Co. in Newport News received a $1.9 million contract from the city of Newport News for the Patrick Henry Commercenter phase I infrastructure.
Basic Construction Co. also received a $3.6 million contract from the state Dept. of Transportation for 1.615 miles of grading, drainage, paving, signs and signals in York and James City County.
Mister A's Professional Services Inc. in Norfolk received a $1.4 million contract from the Navy for custodial services at the Norfolk Naval Station in Portsmouth.
Transportation Safety Contractors of Virginia Inc. in Chesapeake received a $1.7 million contract from the state Dept. of Transportation for traffic signals in Suffolk and Fredericksburg.
C.B.C. Enterprises Inc. in Norfolk received a $3.7 million contract from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg for renovations of James Blair Hall.
W.R. Hall Inc. in Norfolk received a $1.3 million contract from the city of Norfolk for a 42-inch finished water main on Kempsville Road.
Precon Construction in Chesapeake received a $1.6 million contract from the city of Norfolk for a pump station 23 service area sewer rehabilitation.
