John Muehlbauer, 89, of the 9200 block of Chelsea Ave., a retired cabinet maker, died Feb. 26, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Muehlbauer was born in Straubing, Germany. He had retired from the Civil Service NNAS. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was an honorary member of Knights of Columbus, Council 3548.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Maier Muehlbauer; three daughters, Theresa Hewett of Greenville, N.C., Dorothy Ann Schwer of Terra Alta, W.Va., and Charlotte Votava of Nashua, N.H.; two sons, John C. Muehlbauer of Marietta, Ga., and Carl Muehlbauer of Norfolk; and 11 grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Pius X Catholic Church by Father William Dale. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
