Gladys Bransfield, 74, died Feb. 24, 1995.
Mrs. Bransfield was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Norfolk. She was the widow of Maurice D. Bransfield Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eileen Wolfe of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, Mr. M. Declan Bransfield III of Herndon, Va.; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Louis Ruoff. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the church prior to the interment in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 101 West Plume Street, Norfolk, Va. 23510. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
