Ida Mae Koon, 92, formerly of Barclay Ave., Portsmouth, died Feb. 27, 1995, in Suffolk.
She was a native of Peake, S.C., and a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, John Brooks Koon; four daughters, Bettie Allen of Farmville, N.C., Dorothy Robertson of Fallbrook, Calif., Alva Bowers and Lorraine McGinn, both of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. Dennis D. Buchholz. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church.
