GARNET DEAN BRAY

Mrs. Garnet Dean Bray, 70, of Meadows of Dan, Va., died Monday at the Roanoke Memorial Rehab Center.

Born in West Virginia to the late Joe and Beulah Halley, she is survived by her husband, Lavoy Bray Sr. of Meadows of Dan, Va.; three sons, Donnie Lee Bray of Virginia Beach, Lavoy Bray Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Eugene Phillips of Alton, Va.; one daughter, Linda Phillips Thompson of Meadows of Dan, Va.; one brother, Herbert Halley of Portsmouth. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Portsmouth, Va.

Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Roanoke, Va. or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, Va.
