Helen Agnes Griggs Hammett (nee Sivewright), of Perry Hall, died Feb. 24, 1995.
She was a native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
She was the beloved wife of Edward Hammett; devoted mother of Sherry Briggs of Portsmouth, Va., Steven Griggs of Virginia Beach, Va., Scott Griggs of Erie, Pa., and Sandra Kuddes of Salt Lake City, Utah; and dear sister of Margaret Warren of Alexandria, Va., and is also survived by seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Chapel-BelAir, 3 Newport Drive (Routes 23 & 24-Forest Hill, Md.), today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
