JULIUS C. PARKER

Julius Clayton Parker, 69, of the 1000 block of Wolcott Ave., departed this life on Friday, Feb. 24, 1995, at his residence.

Mr. Parker was born on Feb. 17, 1926, in Robersonville, N.C. and was the son of the late Jobie and Rosie Parker. He was a retired member of the ILA, Local 1248 after 43 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria P. Parker; five daughters, Leora Denise Smith, Angela L. Parker, Sheila P. Woods, Benita P. Gainey and Shawna Rene Mason; one son, Aubrey Dion Parker; five sisters, Earlene Foxworth, Rosie Purvis, Emma P. Simon, Vernell O'Neal and Barbara Rhodes; five brothers, Odell Black, William Elbert, Arthur Lee, Jobie Parker Jr. and Kenneth Parker; a dear friend, James Keeling; 10 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Jessie Arrington. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
