Frank E. Harrell, 89, formerly of the 4400 block of Carolina Road, died Feb. 28, 1995, in Riverside Hospital.
Mr. Harrell was born in Nansemond County, Va., and was retired as a self employed farmer and seller with the Portsmouth Farmer's Market after over 50 years. He was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church in Suffolk, the Men's Bible Class, Layman's Fellowship, Permanent Deacon and Trustee Emeritus. He was also a member of Cypress Ruritan Club.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ethel Bunch Harrell; two daughters, Ann Harrell Stigall of Charlotte, N.C., and Peggy Harrell Powell of Virginia Beach; two sons, C. Eugene Harrell of Gloucester Point, Va., and Oscar B. Harrell of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, James Frank Harrell.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Cypress Chapel Christian Church by the Rev. John R. Kimball. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family at Hill Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at 50 Wellesley Drive in Newport News, Apt. (NU)118.
