Louise Velva Ferrell, 65, of the 700 block of Kenosha Ave., a retired meat wrapper, died Feb. 28, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Ferrell was born in Rockingham County, N.C., and was a Baptist. She retired from Colonial Stores after 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, John B. Ferrell; two daughters, Theresa F. Barham of Norfolk and Deborah F. Sorensen of Hampton; three sisters, Elsie Haynes and Cordie Scott, both of Danville, Va., and Connie Moraitis of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Wayne Bauguess of Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
