Macie Vernell James, 78, of the 1000 block of Ducking Point Trail, died Feb. 28, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. James was born in Key West, Fla., and was the former owner of Macie's Beauty Shop on Eaton Street in Key West. She was the widow of Robert F. James and a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert F. James III and his wife, Karen of Virginia Beach; and a sister, Elizabeth Moore of Key West.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Rosewood Memorial Park by Pastor Paul Kettner. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
