The board of directors of the Portsmouth Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce has approved Jimmy R. Spruill, president of JJ Fasteners, Inc., as a board member.
The University of Richmond recently received a gift of $100,000 for its T.C. Williams School of Law from Willard J. Moody Sr., a 1952 graduate.
Moody, president of Moody, Strople & Kloeppel, spent 28 years in the Virginia General Assembly, serving in the House of Delegates from 1956 to 1967 and as a state senator from 1968 to 1984.
