Karen Tiller Garcia, 36, died March 2, 1995, after a two-year battle with cancer.
Karen was an elementary school teacher with the school systems in Halifax, Hopewell, Germany, Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
Surviving are her husband, Felix Garcia; daughter, Alexandra Lynn Garcia; son, Philip Allen Garcia; sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Lynn Tiller, Connie T. and Melville S. Pemberton; brother and sister-in-law, David A. and Kimberley M. Tiller; niece and nephew, Melissa L. and Janathan M. Pemberton.
Her remains rest at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Route 10), Richmond, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
