ROBERT J. DILLER

Robert John Diller, 39, died Feb. 28, 1995, at his residence.

Mr. Diller was a Catholic. He was a 16-year U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Navy SEALs, and was an active Navy reservist at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, in Virginia. He was employed as an electronics technician at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Va. He was a member of the Metal Trades Council union.

Survivors include his mother, Anna Maliski Diller of Beaufort, S.C.; two brothers, Russel J. Diller of Beaufort and Thomas Diller of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; and a sister, JoAnn Kendall of San Francisco, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell A. Diller.

The family is at the residence of his mother in Beaufort. Funeral Mass will be held today at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Beaufort National Cemetery. Copeland Funeral Home is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School, P.O. Box 1254, Beaufort, S.C. 29901.
