Marilyn Jean Cox, 61, of Diamond Lake Estates, died March 2, 1995, at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk.
Mrs. Cox was born in Troy, N.Y., but was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach. She had been a registered nurse at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur C. Cox; four children, Daniel Cox of Richmond, Va., Patricia Wilcox of Martinsville, Va., Cindy Lee Burnett of New Bayden, Ill., and Deborah Cox of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Carl and Gene Feathers and John Hohn.
A private memorial service will be held this afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
