Ira Burrus Berry, 76, of the 3100 block of Galberry Road, died March 2, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Berry was born in Hatteras, N.C., and was the widow of Ben Berry. She attended The Church of God in Lake City, Fla.
Survivors include four daughters, Diana Lois Evans of Live Oaks, Fla., Judith Roberta Green and Susan Ann Berry, both of Chesapeake, and Patricia Elizabeth Suther of Gadsden, Ala.; a son, Leland Maxwell Berry of Gainesville, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Allen Dooley. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
