KATIE B. TINSLEY

Katie B. Tinsley, 81, formerly of the 100 block of Choate St., died Feb. 27, 1995, in her residence.

Mrs. Tinsley was the widow of William C. Tinsley and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She was a member of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth and was a Choir member.

Survivors include a niece, Janie B. McGee and other nieces and nephews; and a great-niece, Shirley Sutton.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church South Portsmouth by the Rev. Warren Amlet. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at the residence of her great-niece, 4204 Summerset Drive. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
