MARY BART COOK

Mary Bart Cook, 62, a native of Chester, S.C., and a local resident since 1968, died Wednesday, March 1, 1995.

She retired from the Virginia Port Authority as a Fiscal Technician Sr. in 1994 after 17 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Hampton, where she was Assistant Treasurer; and she was Vice President of Cook's Moving Service Inc., Hampton.

She is survived by two daughters, Sydne Kathryn Voigt of Stuttgart, Germany, and Regina Cook Smith of Newport News; one daughter-in-law, Cara L. Thies of Hampton; two sons, Harrell W. Cook of Carrollton, and James L. Cook of Richmond; one son-in-law, Andrew Smith of Newport News; one sister, Ann Evans of Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren, Shannon DeLauder, Jeremy Cook, Lindsay Coberly, Melissa Cook, Nickolas Smith, Elizabeth Cook, Shelly Smith and Dustie Cook; one niece, Debbie Riodan; one nephew, Ricky Cook; and her beloved pet, Roxy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Peggy B. Buelow officiating. Interment will be made in the Peninsula Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1835 Todds Lane, Hampton.
