Annie Taylor Colbert, 88, of the 900 block of Truman Road, died March 1, 1995, in Sentara Health Center, Norfolk.
A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Carey and Martha Wiggins Taylor and was the widow of John Thomas Colbert. She was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Florence L. Cooper, and a son, Douglas Colbert, both of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a niece, four great-nieces; and several cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Metropolitan Baptist Church by the Rev. Melvin R. Boone. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
