James E. McClure, 65, of the 200 block of Dulwich Crescent, died March 2, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. McClure was born in Rockwell City, Iowa, and was Episcopalian. He retired from CINLANTFLEET after 22 years and retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60 and American Legion Post (NU)141.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Louise McClure of Norfolk, Elizabeth Boswell of Portsmouth and Marcie Anne McClure of Provincetown, Mass.; and two grandchildren, Dennis Sean McClure of Norfolk and Daniel James Boswell-McClure of Portsmouth.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Animal Assistance League of Tidewater in Chesapeake.
