REGINALD L. BONNEY, SR.

Reginald Laverne Bonney, Sr., 61, of the 1300 block of Sheppard Ave., Norfolk, passed away Friday, March 3, 1995. A native of Norfolk, he graduated from Granby High School and attended the Technical Institute of the College of William and Mary. He was a civil service supervisor and had taught in the apprentice program at the Norfolk Vocational Technical Center. He was also an accomplished woodworker who taught adult woodworking at Chesapeake and Norfolk vocational schools. Mr. Bonney was a member of Ruth Masonic Lodge (NU) 89 A.F & A.M. and Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies. He was a Presbyterian, and with his family attended Third Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce J. Bonney; two sons and daughters-in-law; Reginald Laverne Jr. & Cynthia Bonney- Norfolk, Andrew Glenn and Jennifer Bonney- Norfolk, his mother, Rachel Brinn Bonney- Norfolk; one brother, Gerald R. Bonney, Sr., Norfolk, 3 grandchildren, Reginald Laverne Bonney III, Jason Rucker Bonney, Rachel Marie Bonney, all of Norfolk. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 P.M. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Dr. Chapel with the Rev. Steven Cronn officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 7-8 P.M. I Corinthians 13:13 ``But now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love''
