Corlia E. Owens Edwards, 53, formerly of 2425 Cottage Ave., died Feb. 23, 1995 in Bellevue Hospital.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Greenville County, Va. She was the widow of Eddie Edwards, was a former member of First Calvary Baptist Church, graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Norfolk State University. She was the daughter of the late Lilton M. Owens.
Survivors include two daughters; two sons; her mother, O'Delia Newby of Chesapeake; two aunts, Ella Winslow and Mary Berry, both of Norfolk; one uncle, Joseph Owens of Petersburg, Va.; stepfather, Charlie Newby; and devoted friend, Winston Benjamin.
A funeral will be Monday at Horne-Dannecker Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in New York. Information furnished by Hale Funeral Home.
