James Joseph Kelly, 60, of the 4400 block of Deborah Court, died March 2, 1995, in his residence.
A native of Chicago, Mr. Kelly was vice president of operations for Minute Man Fuels Inc. He was a Catholic, past president of Ocean View Golf Association and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Otta Lee Kelly; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Porter of Chesapeake; a sister, Jean Haynn of Park Forest, Ill.; and a grandchild, Courtney Porter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Father James C. Griffin. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
