Carrie Smith, 74, of the 1000 block of Kittrell St., died March 2, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Smith was born in Norfolk. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Norfolk city schools; a member of Oakwood Chapel Church, Norfolk; and widow of James F. Smith.
Survivors include three sons, James F. Smith, Jr., Melvin Smith, Norfolk, and Bernard Irving, L.A., Calif.; and four sisters, Louise Edwards, Lottie Knight, Norfolk, Queen Sibley, Chesapeake, Verlene Kelley, Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Chapel Church by the Rev. C.N. White. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at 1058 Kittrell St., Norfolk.
