Marylin T. Copeland's calling the commonwealth's governor ``smug'' (``Why trust governors?'' letter, March 2) is appropriate if you consider the source.
Speaking of ``decent burials'' in the General Assembly, Virginia needs more decent burials of Democrats at the ballot boxes. Our governor's proposal to restrict teenagers from receiving Medicaid was to be a turning point in Medicaid reform.
Democrats missed the turn and are now off the road but don't know it. To be ignorant is sad, but to be ignorant and not know it is dangerous.
The governorship is in good (excellent) hands. The commonwealth needs changes. It's too bad the Democrats are in a fog and don't have the slightest idea as to what is best for Virginia.
