Ervin Givens Clary, 75, a resident of East Street, Boykins, VA, died Wed., March 8, 1995, at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, VA. He was a native of Brunswick County and a retired employee of W. S. Peebles & Co. He was a member of Boykins Baptist Church and was son of the late Richard G. & Courtney Moore Clary.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Phillips Clary, daughter and son-in-law, Margie C. and Donald H. Boyd of High Point, NC, a grandson, Daron B. Boyd, Lancaster, PA, a brother, Atlas V. Clary, Chesapeake, two sisters, Fannie C. Wiley & Edith C. Powell, both of Freeman, VA.
Funeral services will be held in Boykins Baptist Church on Friday, March 10, 1995, at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev. Benjamin E. Thomas. Family and friends may gather at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Park Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Va., for the committal service. Memorial donations may be made to the Boykins Baptist Church. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, is handling arrangements.
