PAUL T. LEWIS

Paul T. Lewis, 80, of the 2400 block of Richmond Ave., a retired wharf builder, died March 7, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.

Mr. Lewis was born in Elizabethtown, N.C., and was the widower of Viola Lewis. He was retired from the Naval Amphibious Base after 37 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary L. Parker of Portsmouth and Jewell Person of Virginia Beach; two sons, Ueston Lewis and Lawrence Manning, both of Portsmouth; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. John Jones. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Mary L. Parker, Piedmont Ave., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
