HONORS AND AWARDS

Chesapeake General Hospital Authority, the governing body for the 260-bed hospital, has named five new board members. Joining the 11-member board are Dr. Nicholas H. Augenstein, internist; Dr. Richard T. Holden, orthopedic surgeon; Dr. Prudencio Mendez Jr., ear, nose and throat specialist; Benjamin M. Williams II, employed by GTE Virginia, and Benny J. Sessions, a retired civil service worker.

The newly appointed members join J. Ridgely Porter III, chairman; Robert M. Oman, vice chairman; Bradford M. Casas, secretary; Verdell T. Nottingham, treasurer; Dr. Jeffrey P. Powell, past chairman; and Linwood L. Nelms Jr.
