BETTY S. KEMP

Betty Sue Kemp, 54, of the 700 block of Shadowood Lane, died Wednesday, March 8, 1995, in her Spring Hill, Fla., residence.

Mrs. Kemp was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of Mary Barbour Smith of Chesapeake and the late James Howard Smith and the wife of William F. Kemp. She was a very devoted church worker and member of Great Bridge Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School for several years.

Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by one son, Michael D. Parsons of Virginia Beach and one sister, Faye E. Lawrence of Bremerton, Wash.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Charles L. Moseley. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
