Randall A. Pearson Sr., 65, of the 1200 block of Barbour Drive, a retired skill-saw operator, died March 5, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mr. Pearson was born in Emporia, Va., and was retired from Atlantic Wood Industries. He was a former member of Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Skippers, Va., and a member of U.S. Steel Workers Union (AFL-CIO-CLC) (NU)12439.
Survivors include his wife, Annie M. Pearson; a daughter, Joyce Elizabeth Pearson, and three sons, Randall A. Pearson Jr., Kenneth L. Pearson and David H. Pearson, all of Portsmouth; three sisters, Alice E. Smith, Beulah L. Williams and Margie Webb, all of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, James R. Pearson of Washington, D.C., and Melvin G. Pearson of Baltimore; five grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Lavoris L. Pearson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home by Elder Felton K. Whitfield. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. today. The family will be at the home of his son, 2513 Hickory St., Portsmouth.
